West Jordan Theater Arts presents “Charley’s Aunt,” a fast-paced, turn of the century British farce. The play is about two young men, the women they love, the chaperone they need, the guardian they don’t, the father, the real aunt, the butler, the orphan and the poor young man they con into playing…Charley’s aunt.

Performances will be at the beautiful new Viridian Event Center inside the County Library Headquarters, 8030 South 1825 West, Sept. 27-29 and Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. A Saturday matinee will show Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults; and $5 for seniors, students and children. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the West Jordan Macey’s or at the door.

The players include Jack Chesney (Oran Marc de Baritault), Jesse Markus (Charley Wykeham), Brandon Green (Fancourt Babberly), Kassi Gull (Kitty Verdun), Jen Chapman (Amy Spettigue), Erin Sume (Ela Delahay), Gary Rasmussen (Sir Frances Chesney), Ann Sharp (Donna Lucia D’ Alvadorez), Brett Howell (Mr. Spettigue), and Steve Hedman (Brassett). “Charley’s Aunt” is directed by Denise Gull.
